Jumbleberry jam

This is such a winner of a jam, honestly it’s so good, you simply must try it!

Ingredients:

1kg total mixture of any combination of strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, black currants & red currants

500g jam sugar

500g white granulated sugar

Juice of one lemon

Method:

Wash your fruit well and put into a large pan with the lemon juice, bringing the heat up and stirring until the fruit juices run.

Add the sugar, keep stirring, and boil on a rolling boil for 10-12 minutes until setting point is reached. You can use a thermometer to 105 degrees or the saucer in the freezer trick.

Ladle through a jam funnel into warm, sterilised jars and enjoy!

Great on crusty fresh bread, or knock out in a Victoria sponge!
