Knitting Patterns

Now I am by no means a knitting expert, but much like you will see from my recipes (I do rather like to free-style) my non-conformist knitting tends to evolve and I develop my own patterns for things along the way with a bit of trial and error. I like the logic and mathematics of it all I must confess. I also like things which don’t take months on end as frankly I just don’t have the patience. I currently have five projects on the go and I am a bugger for starting several things at once rather than finishing one at a time.

I love to gift home-made items to my friends and family both edible and wearable so below you will also see some ‘gift-able’ ideas. I believe there is nothing lovelier than opening a present of a beautiful hand knitted scarf on Christmas day knowing that someone has taken real time and effort to show you their love for the festive season, not just picked one out in Accessorise while they were shopping at Bluewater.

Here I will list my patterns for anyone to use for free – hopefully they are easy to understand! There is nothing complicated here whatsoever, I pinky promise!
