Pizza dough (bread machine)

Ingredients

1 tbsp yeast

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp salt

250ml warm water

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 tablespoons live yoghurt

450g strong white bread flour

Method:

Add the ingredients to your bread maker in the order above. Apply your ‘dough’ setting. Mine takes 45 minutes. It is fantastic to throw the ingredients in the machine when you get in from work then just leave it for a couple of hours. It’s then ready to just roll out and make your pizzas. Tastes far and away better than anything you can buy! I allow to rest for a further hour or so usually in the bread machine with the lid closed. I then turn out, and roll on a floured surface. The above makes two large pizzas and approximately eight doughballs. Bake at the hottest temperature your oven will go, mine is 250° C. They will not take long, perhaps around eight minutes, but keep checking. You want the base to be coloured underneath so that the pizza holds its shape when you eat it.

P.S. Never ever ever eat a pizza with a knife and fork! 😉

Enjoy!
